GORDON NAGAI

Gordon is a Nisei, a second generation Japanese-American, who has looked through the viewfinder of a camera for most of the past 60 years. After years of documenting the births of his children, various holiday gatherings, and family reunions, he began his training and professional work behind the camera with both grand scenic and intimate landscapes where he sought to capture the essence and beauty of nature.

From 1998 through 2006 Gordon joined a friend in her wedding and event photography business, where their complimentary styles enabled them to work with children, couples and their families, and individuals, with Gordon specializing in intimate images of the parties involved. He has taught several photography classes through Lane Community College, and lives here in Eugene with his wife of 50+ years.

DIANA NAGAI

Diana grew up experiencing her father's love of photography first hand. She thought every family had tons of photo albums documenting their lives, as that was the norm in her home. It was natural, then, that she picked up the camera and started filling her own albums. After college, she worked for a software company for 5 years doing quality assurance for digital photo enhancement software, which enhanced her abilities behind the camera. She brings her photographic skills to Nagai Photography, as well as her immense love of digital imagery and giving clients memories to treasure for always. Diana lives in Eugene, OR with her husband Chris and their two children.
